The embrace

There is nothing more selfless than the hug. When you give a hug you automatically get another back. I'm not talking just in wrapping your arms on the other. I'm talking about the marriage of souls, the heart beat of another heart beating next to yours, in breathing together when your chest and the other one is compressed to one another. I'm talking about the exchange of positive energy, the exchange of love that it represents. A hug can calm down tempers, bring comfort and joy. Hugging is a tool to kill the longing, is a benefit that saves lives. Some stuff do not talk to, they feel. And hugging is pure feeling. A good hug does not need reason, does not need explanations, and conveys exactly what it does not come out through the mouth. When a hug is sincere enough to be spontaneous, it's natural. It's no wonder that when we were born the first thing our mother does is to involve us in her arms, it's a legacy that is worth being past. You do not decide to give a hug, you feel the urge to. It is the heart, and when was the last time you let your heart decide?
